Nicaragua 2890㎡ Warehouse Project: Bolt Ball Mesh Truss + Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Roofing Creates an Aesthetic and Easy-to-Install Steel Space Frame Storage Solution

December 10, 2025
Latest company case about Nicaragua 2890㎡ Warehouse Project: Bolt Ball Mesh Truss + Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Roofing Creates an Aesthetic and Easy-to-Install Steel Space Frame Storage Solution

I. Project Background: Nicaragua's Warehouse Upgrade and Lightweight Steel Structure Demand

In recent years, Nicaragua has actively developed port logistics, agricultural processing, and foreign trade warehousing. Traditional brick-and-concrete structures and simple color-coated steel sheds no longer meet owners' demands in terms of appearance, service life, and corrosion resistance. Facing high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and coastal environments with high air salinity, an increasing number of local owners are prioritizing Steel Space Frame warehouses. These structures must ensure structural safety and reliability while balancing aesthetics and ease of maintenance.

Against this backdrop, we customized a bolt ball mesh warehouse with a floor area of approximately 2,890 m² for our Nicaraguan client. The roof system features a composite design combining 0.9mm aluminum-magnesium-manganese panels on the upper layer and 0.5mm steel sheets on the lower layer, achieving an integrated effect of aesthetics, lightweight construction, corrosion resistance, and easy installation.

II. Client Requirements and Pain Points

Located near a port and industrial park, the client's existing warehouse faced these challenges:

– Outdated appearance: Traditional color-coated steel sheds offered monotonous aesthetics, failing to align with the upgraded corporate brand image;
– High risk of roof corrosion and leaks: Coastal humid and rainy environments increased maintenance frequency and shortened roof lifespan;
– Tight construction schedule requiring fast completion;
– Limited interior space utilization: The client needed a large span and minimal columns to optimize forklift mobility and shelving layout.

Thus, the client required:

– A bolt ball mesh structure for large-span stability;
– A modern metallic roof aesthetic with distinctive form;
– Strong corrosion resistance and long-term durability;
– Modular, standardized construction to shorten installation time.

III. Solution: Bolt Ball Mesh Truss + Double-Layer Metal Roofing

1. Structural and Material Parameters Overview

Project Name: Nicaragua Bolt Ball Mesh Warehouse Project
Location: Port/Industrial Park, Nicaragua
Building Use: Logistics Storage / Industrial Warehouse
Building Area: Approx. 2890 m²
Structural System: Bolt Ball Mesh Steel Space Frame
Primary Steel: Q235 / Grade Structural Steel
Upper Roof Layer: 0.9mm Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Panel
Lower Roof Layer: 0.5mm Steel Sheet
Design Focus: Wind resistance, corrosion resistance, aesthetics, construction efficiency
Installation Method: Prefabricated components + on-site bolted assembly

2. Design Highlights

Bolt Ball Mesh Space Frame ensures structural stability
The multidirectional space frame offers superior wind and seismic resistance, ideal for high-humidity and high-wind coastal environments.

0.9mm Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Roofing
Lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant, and visually modern with a metallic finish; reduces load and overall steel cost.

0.5mm Steel Base Layer
Provides interior uniformity, improves rigidity, and supports insulation, lighting, and fire safety installations.

Aesthetics + Easy Installation
All space frame components are factory-prefabricated and numbered for rapid on-site assembly. Roofing adopts proven waterproof fastening systems.

IV. Construction and Delivery: Standardized Prefabrication Boosts Efficiency

All frame members and bolt balls undergo factory pre-assembly checks, then are packaged per installation sequence. The on-site team assembles components based on numbering, minimizing measurement errors. The dual-layer roofing system shortens construction time while ensuring waterproof integrity. The entire structure and roofing were delivered within the client's tight schedule.

V. Performance and Client Feedback

Modern Aesthetics and Enhanced Corporate Image
The metallic aluminum-magnesium-manganese roof stands out compared to surrounding older structures.

Aesthetic Truss Structure with Easy Maintenance
The orderly spatial truss layout facilitates installation and future maintenance.

Corrosion Resistance and Extended Service Life
Upper-layer aluminum-magnesium-manganese panels perform reliably in coastal humidity, reducing long-term costs.

Improved Internal Space Utilization
Large-span design minimizes interior columns and markedly improves warehouse logistics efficiency.

VI. Summary and Insights

The 2,890 m² bolt ball mesh warehouse in Nicaragua demonstrates that the Steel Space Frame + Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Roofing System is an optimal choice for Central and South American warehouse owners who value durability, aesthetics, and lifecycle cost control.

The modularity of bolt ball mesh structures enables rapid, standardized assembly.
The combination of 0.9mm aluminum-magnesium-manganese panels with 0.5mm steel sheets withstands humidity, rain, and corrosion while enhancing architectural appearance.

This project offers a strong reference for warehouse, logistics center, and industrial facility construction in Nicaragua and other Latin American regions.
